Building Emotional Connections: My Journey with Food Brands

At Primo Angeli, I discovered what creating emotional connections with brands looked like, particularly with food. Primo was a pioneer in branding and packaging and it showed in all the work produced in the eponymous design firm. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working on a multitude of food products, each presenting unique challenges and opportunities for growth. 

I have been fortunate to be involved in impactful projects for household names. From the Clorox portfolio of brands, I oversaw the redesign of KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce and the new product launch of KC Masterpiece Marinades. The rich heritage of the Kansas City original BBQ sauce was effectively preserved while freshening the original line of products and successfully introducing a line of new marinades to entice grillers everywhere.
